In celebration of Black History Month, join us at the Cliff for Harriet, a 2019 biographical film starring Cynthia Erivo as abolitionist Harriet Tubman. The film received nominations for the Academy Awards, Oscar, Grammy, and Golden Globes.
Harriet chronices Harriet Tubman's escape from slavery in 1840s Maryland and her transformation into a renowned Underground Railroad conductor. Guided by faith and vivid visions, she returns south repeatedly to rescue family and others, becoming a legendary freedom fighter.
